At NUAN we have put a twist on the traditional and embellished some of your favourite styles in collaboration with O&M Leather, Los Angeles. We want to emphasise that despite its reputation, cashmere doesn’t always have to be restricted to formal or conservative styling; design details like leather accents and studs can give it that contemporary edge you’ve been looking for.
O&M Leather is run by Oscar and Michelle Morales, an artisan team specialising in designing and crafting a range of beautiful leather items from their Los Angeles workshop. NUAN designer, Caoimhe Ryan fell in love with their pieces on a trip to Los Angeles in early 2016 and subsequently approached them with a hope of working together. This is where the O&M/NUAN Collaboration was born.
Each cashmere piece is shipped to O&M's LA workshop where the leather is carefully treated, cut and painstakingly hand-stitched onto each piece.
We now offer four of your favourite couture and COCO styles with leather accents. The exceptional quality of the material and expert craftsmanship ensures that all O&M pieces can be hand-washed as per our normal cashmere care instruction without puckering, shrinking or the leather becoming brittle and hard. Oscar only uses finest apparel grade leather.
